You have always been a role model and hero for Kurds, especially for Kurdish women around the world. You have spoken of sisterhood and brotherhood between nations and have dedicated yourself to advancing women’s participation in the political process.
That news of your victory gives all of us the energy and faith to continue our fight towards a more equal and democratic world community, specifically in countries where our basic human rights are denied. Your people are behind you.
